Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actress best known for the role as Missandei (HBO's fantasy drama Game of Thrones) from the year 2011 until 2019, was a British actress. Emmanuel is a native of England, born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's beach resort, has always been interested in performing. The mother of Nathalie was aware and began enrolling her in dance, singing and acting classes at the age of was just three years old. Emmanuel was a highly skilled as a singer and actress. She was cast as an infant Nala at her role in the West End for the stage production "The The Lion King" at the end of the 1990s. Emmanuel began auditioning when she was a young teen to film and television roles. Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she was selected to be Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95--). Emmanuel played the part for four years, eventually leaving the show in 2010. The next major breakthrough for Emmanuel occurred three years later when she was cast as Missandei in the role of interpreter for Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones."
